I always stay there, and have for years since about 1974 when it was Pension Joni.
It is a budget place, has a range of rooms but a lot of the ground floor, cheapest rooms are quite rustic.
Depends on what type of room you have booked, the more you pay the better the room.
Has some lovely renovated rooms, both in Joni 11 and Joni 1.
Not really all that suitable for kids, altho I have stayed there when children have and they have kept amused.
It suits me and the staff are great.
Breakfast isn't a huge buffet which I do miss but the price is good.
