Have a look on wikimapia, I marked Tamu seseh on it. Its probably 700 metres walk to the beach. Local shop sell drinks and local snacks.
You could leg it to echo beach pub/warungs at low tide. Otherwise taxis are cheap as chips.
The bikes are great for local tours and trips. The longest trip we did was to Babi Gulang warung on the road to Tanah Lot.
Things may have changed in the past 8 months but the food was typical bali tucker. Bumbu chicken, rices, noodles and curry etc.
