Amlapura. Turn right well before Amlapura and head across to the Ujung Water Palace. This right turn is in the village of Jasi Kauh. The road takes a sharp left hand bend, there is a monument on this bend and a smaller road heading to the right. Head down this road and take the first left. If you miss the turn you will end up on the beach.
Which ever way you go just keep the ocean on your right and everything should be okay.
I often stay in that particular area at Irenes Homestay. This is a wonderful two storey house with swimming pool that is rented out for around 300,000rp per night. There is a bit of a write up at

The water palace is also well worth a visit. If you are not completely lost you should drive along side of this.

The dodgy bridge that the sheep chaser mentions is still in need of repair.
As you travel through Candi Dasa call into Vincent,s Restaurant. When in Amed try Sails Restaurant. Both of these restaurants are very good.
