There is also a function which you can use to transfer messages from yahoo to your mobile phone, so that you can tesxt messages through your mobile via yahoo and recieve them also. This also costs nothing. I have not used this function, but have a friend who does this which I type messages on my comp using yahoo messenger and they recieve these messages on their mobile phone and can reply by texting on their mobile and I recieve the messaged through yahoo.
