Thank you for your informative response. It appears that the internet broadband service is quite expensive if one has to pay about $1000 per month for 256 kbps broadband. I lived in Jakarta for about a year in 2006 and used the internet. Dont know how much it cost as the rent was paid by my employer and the internet service was included in the rent. The service was quite satisfactory. I am not knowledgeable in the technology of internet but I would like to know what is the reliability and cost of unlimited high speed internet access in Bali. If this is of any significance, I will be using internet Bali time from about 9 pm to 4 am weekdays. Thanks in advance for any information.
