but the good thing is that the older markets of Australia and Japan are being overtaken by Korea, Taiwan, China, Russia etc.Australia now accounts for only 10-12% of foreign visitors and this drops to about 5-6% when domestic tourists are included in the total so even If Australians drop again it won't be drastic for Bali as a whole. The month's breakdown of country origin is not yet in. Some of the optimism is also a bit muted in the older budget areas which are now less popular and so quieter. A majority of current visitors spend a lot of time doind day trips to see the island so again some shopping areas can appear quiet.
