Accomodation in Legian or Kuta

I was considering the Bounty Hotel for some of our time in Bali as hubby and I have stayed here previously however with the prices I am being quoted I am starting to wonder if there is a better option available.

We are looking for something in Kuta or Legian area that is not going to be full of families and kids. We are both in our 30's so not necessarily looking for a 'party' type hotel. Although I have been several times my travel companion has not been to Bali before so want to make sure the accomodation is good. We are looking at room rates of up to AUS$70 per night for a twin share room including breakfast. Something beachfront would be nice but not a definite requirement. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
