I've been having some problems with Island Bound - has anybody else had problems?
I booked a 2 week trip to bali, between the 3rd and 17th of november. Staying at the Hard Rock, Ritz Carlton and Novotel Nusa Dua (All, presumably easy to contact hotels)
First drama: Booked and paid in full with them on the 20th of August, was told confirmation would come through before the 22nd. I'm still waiting...
Second drama: Was advised this morning upon chasing up confirmation, that their is a price rise next week and if the confirmation does not come through by then, I will have to pay it ($235). even though I paid in full. My response to that was: I've paid for it in full, what happens after that is your prob, not mine.
Third drama: Perhaps the one that is bothering me the most, they've informed me that I wont recieve my travel docs until 1 week before departure. Surely this is not standard practice? what if there is a spelling mistake, or a mistake elsewhere in the documentation? There will not be enough time to fix it!
I paid for it in full the day that I booked it, as a gesture of good will and hoping that it will speed the process up.
Has anybody had any similar problems with Island Bound? and do you have any suggestions/ideas or something to put my mind at easE?
