Garuda and have always found them to be the better for service etc. They beat Qantas hands down all the time.When I am in Bali I am always hoping that Garuda would want me to stay another couple of days especially seeing as they pay for everything. As for being uncomfortable it is only a short flight from Perth so it shouldn't worry people too much. All airlines have unforseen problems that are usually out of their control. Even with the delays by leaving at 1.30pm you are still arriving at a better time of day to the Qantas flight which gets in at around 10.00pm and the price is approx $200 cheaper as well. Give me Garuda any day.
