MBR booking direct

hi there, i want to book accom. direct as i am using ffp and do not want to go thru travel agent- upon emailing, mbr replied saying its $100 us a night but to book thru an agent? has anyone booked direct with melasti? how do you pay deposit, etc- i want to make sure i have a bed when i get there!!
