I need some reassurance!

I haven't been to Bali since I was the age of 12, we're heading over at the end of August and I'm a little worried.
Obviously there's always travel warnings, but is it all good at the moment?
We're just a little worried. But the thought of laying in the sun is certainly appealing. Especially with today's weather in Perth.
