and she is highly allergic. We travelled with antihistimines and epi pen. We ate everywhere and were fine but then she had a reaction at breakfast time and the only thing we could pin point was the chocolate croissants. My daughter was eight at the time and knows the signs of allergy so I had enough time to get on top of the reaction. Scary but if your prepared and take your epi pen and antihistimes everywhere you shouldn't have a problem. We are going back in two days so we're not too traumatised. We will take zyrtec (recommended by allergy specialist because it is rapid acting) and 2 epi pens we also take wipes so that if she comes in contact she can wipe her hands immediately. Oh and also the airline may take your epi pen for the flight but will give it back at the end and they also require a letter from the doctor. Have fun, be vigilant but don't stress!!! :)
