We have tried to organise to bring in some workers for overseas but because we arent classed as hospitality (and cleaning isnt a skilled position - but kitchen hand is classed as skilled - work that one out!!) we cant bring workers in.
However your friend if she wants to work in hospitality there is a visa you can get (457 or something its called) to enable her to get a work visa.
If she wants to clean she can come and work for us LOL
