Yes, it's a much cheaper option for us here in NZ I think, did it in May and going again on the 22nd of this month.
I think you will find that Royal Brunei pay for your stop over both ways, they did for us, check with your travel agent, or ring Royal Brunei yourself and ask them.
We have found them to be an excellent alternative to Garuda, after they pulled out from NZ.
