Please check again about accomodation as you are only there overnight and I know that Royal Brunei do pay for that, we stayed extra days on the way up, and had to pay all accomodation but coming back it was only overnight, and Royal Brunei paid.
We stayed at The Empire, but that might just be for business class? there appears to be a lot of nice hotels there.
Spoke to people travelling economy and they were way overweight and didn't have a problem.
