We have flown Garuda a number of times.
Basically good flights, but older aircraft, TV didnt work. Food fine, staff fine. No big complaints! We got to and from our destination.
Flown Qantas, no probs.
Merpati, quite good really.
Air Paradise, enjoyed the flights to and from the best. Damn shame it couldnt stand the heat after the second attack, they lowered their prices and unfortunately didnt have bottoms on all of their seats.
Have flown Jetstar twice. We really didnt have any problems, ok, seating was frustrating and mixed up, but at the end of the day, we paid $343 and $434 return from Melbourne to Bali, so if they offer that again, I will happily fly with Jetstar again.
Its a pest that we have to be prepared to pay excess baggage each flight, but then again, we are breaking the rules by trying to carry more than the limit. So be it. The aircraft are newer and the leg room seems slighty longer.
I just check out which flights are leaving on the day we want, what are the prices and book the best available for the day (or if its significantly less, change days).
