There are some locations that I wouldnt be happy staying in as well. It can be real hard work as you all know in areas like Kuta if your not ready for it, and I would probably have a bad time if staying in that area these days. 20-30 years ago it was a different story, Kuta was great.
Dont get me wrong we still enjoy Bali but only in other special locations. The hassle of Kuta etc isnt what makes us return and if thats all we thought there was, probably wouldnt give Bali a glowing report either. Just a thought.
