I was at this hotel for 6 days of my month in Bali ending March 7, 2007. It was nice as far as big, corporate hotels go. Clean, nice pools, well kept grounds. approx 180 rooms, 80% full. Yet there was room at the pool and on the beach which was nice. There's a kids club or something like that by one of the pools - didn't pay too much attention to it but it was there.
This hotel is much fancier than 2003 and 2002 when I was there and it was still the Raddin. Looks like there are mostly Dutch and Japanese and Koreans there.
Lots of good restaurants within walking distance. I'd recommend Mama Putu's Warung 30 seconds down the road for cheap good food. I wouldn't bother eating or drinking at the hotel.
