Date for when you will apply for the visa. Its always better if it's on a company letterhead...
It would be good if he put in where you will be staying, with any contact numbers also.
Also put in your reasons for wanting the social visa in the first place. To spend time with family and friends etc...
Usually its a very simple letter and you'll get the visa fine... Mine wasnt even more than one paragraph. Unfortunately I havent saved a copy... :(
