We go through this every year as well. I still cannot fathom the problem. We always book direct with hotel via Suma (Front Office Manager)and get the same response but when we arrive all seems to be OK. Admitidly I have stayed away from the exec suites prefering two rooms instead. The problem is there are only 4 ground floor suites and only two at the pools edge so they are very popular. Anyway good luck, Suma arrived yesterday for a week (Back to Bali Party) so you may not be able to contact until next week.
