That means you can take a domestic flight to darwin then change to an international flight to other destinations and they will do this by combining the two flights on the one ticket and regarding as one journey
this would seem on the surface at least to fully utilise the domestic fleet whilst reducing the number of long flights into asia from Australia's southern based citys
Third airlines in the past have always been out muscled by Qantas & friends and usually went broke
I don't think Singapore Airlines are going to go broke
In the meantime while they all arm wrestle for market share, there are going to be a lot of cheap flights around
