I have used them many times since they started a couple of years ago.
They have all new A320 air buses.
The service is great compared with Qantas or similar airlines.
They have a turnaround of 30 minutes ,they are cleaning the plane before you land.
Remember two things , one is there are no seat allocations but if you are elderly or have small kids you can board first ,two is the luggage allowance is only 15kgs ,you can pay a bit more to have 20 kgs.
You do not land at the flash terminals at Singapore airport you land at the new budget terminal.
Buses run between terminal 2 and the budget terminal every fifteen minutes.
And the train runs from 2 to 1 terminal.
The budget terminal is very basic but has a good food hall and some duty free stores but nothing like number 1 and 2.
Once they hit Australia Qantas will have to come to the party with service and price.
Once you get out of Australia you have Tiger / Cebu Pacific / Air Asia.
You can get from Singapore or Jakarta up to China on these airlines and then there are many budget airlines all with new aircraft.
Any way if they sell Qantas to the yanks there will be no need to molly coddle them like we have for years.
Let them earn their money on service and price like the others have to.
Tiger will not get blown out of the water by price cutting like the others were they have real backing.
