Hello,

I stumbled across this site the other day and thought it would be extremely useful for Bali holiday planning. It is a map of the world that opens in any web browser very similar to google earth but there is no need for additional software. Like google earth you can pan across the whole earth and zoom right in to the roof tops. The best thing about this site though is that it is not just a map it is a wikimap. This allows anybody to add to it by outlining and adding a note to attractions, hotels, shopping, anything others would be interested in, and everyone can see it.

I have no connection or anything with this site I just stumbled across it and thought it was brilliant.

It would be excellent to show the location of your favourite hotel or restaurant instead of trying to explain with unusual street names and nearby landmarks, just point it out on the map.

Not only is it good for showing the location but gives a good idea of distances between things.

There are only a few locations, so find your favourite place in Bali and if it is not boxed add the location then everyone will see where it is.

I know this may sound like a pretty good advertisement for another website, but I really am not doing that I think it is an excellent and new concept that we can all only gain from.

The link I have given centres and zooms in on Ground Zero of "Bom Bali"

The picture is a few years old but still very useful.
