Just from looking at Melasti Beach Resort - the new section isn't quite finished yet. The pool is empty and the new superior and deluxe rooms aren't done yet and neither is the new reception area.
I stayed there May 2003 and it was all under construction. By November 2003 I was staying in one of the new rooms and it was all finished.
