Singapore Airlines from Brisbane

Just booked for June flying Singapore Airlines from Brisbane to Singapore to Bali return. Cost 1122.40 including all taxes. What a difference this was so easy to book over the internet. No a long stopover in Singapore just enough time to do some Duty Free shopping. Rang the next day to enquire about cancellation (because my niece can't decided if she wants to come). $220.00 cancellation fee. Ask about changing the booking in Bali if I wanted to stay longer or come home earlier - $50.00 dependent on available seats.
