Wire coathangers (hotels never have enough) & pegs in addition to a thin rope line. Pegging things on hangers to dry is a convenient way of overnight drying.
Half a cake of Sard Wondersoap for immediately treating those satay, chili & other difficult stains.
A penknife with bottle opener for slicing limes for G&Ts & opening bottles of Bintang.
A thin, light towelling T-towel for wiping glasses, also hands when at restaurants where the towel provided looks icky. Take it in a plastic freezer bag - I always take several of those with twist ties for keeping any bugs out of eg half a packet of crackers or other food, very useful.
Purse-sized tissue packets for if you need them at a place with no loo paper.
A few plastic cups.
A small sewing kit.
A small, basic medical kit.
Seems like a lot but most are lightweight & can be left there when you leave.
