at Sanur is right we are of the mature age. Not sure of dates yet as my gf is a travel agent and she is trying to get the best for us.
The first time we went there was in 1978 --- last time was 1998 and we have been 12 times. We love it. The street has always been my choice as the market is (or was) not controled by Balanese. Our favourite restaurant was on the corner of the street to the beach in which Segara Village is bordering on the Bali Beach Hotel. Their BBQ duck and lumpia was to die for. The ones you mention were not there then. We used to walk the street from Bali Beach Hotel to Sanuar beach hotel stopping on the way for the 'coldest Bintang'. Then have lunch at a beach warung and walk the beach back. The next day we would do it in reverse!! Kept us fit - I am in training again in rediness !! Really looking forward to checking out the changes.
