A Catholic can marry a protestant in a protestant ceremony, but alot harder the other way around. If a protestant wants to marry a muslim in Indonesia, can't do. The protesant must convert to muslim and same with Hindu, budda etc. Religion is a very touchy subject in Indonesia. The Protestant religion is the easiest to do though, no proof of Religion is needed, just a birth certificate and passport. Also a lot of Religions are not allowed to be legally married in Indonesia, like the French, its all very complicated.
