flight from melbourne

Hi
I'm looking at buying tickets for my sister and her 3 teenage kids so than can join us in Bali in April. Around 7th for 10 days. I usually fly from WA and have no idea of what is a good price from Melbourne. Jetstar have flights for $800, plus I'd need to book acommodation on top. Does this sound reasonable or would I be better getting a deal with acommodaton? She can just as easily leave from Sydney so should I be looking at that as an alternative?
