over the phone and gave them my credit card details only , the same as you would do if you where paying a bill to Telstra or any other provider. Under no circumstances send them photo copies of the FRONT AND BACK of your creditcard!
I have only used the travel agent because we really put pressure on him to beat the prices we got by booking everything over the net.
It is a shame to do this because the agents have to make a living ,but that's the way it is today . Similar to your corner shop and supermarkets
You can research the hotel or hotels you wish to stay at simply by getting a Bali Holiday book from any travel agent and then Google the hotel and see what it looks like and contact them direct.
If you need further advise on how to book or what hotels to book simply put a post on this forum and you will be inundated with replies and recomendations.
