Garuda and surfboards - not sure

Hi Jan - I can't answer this one as it has been 26 years since I last few Garuda but I'm sure someone here will know. The Garuda site unfortunately is not really big on information.

We met up with friends in Bali this year who flew with them and from what they said it appears that the surfboard weight is not included in your 20kg allowance. I think they said your boards could weigh up to an extra 15kg. Don't know about length as they guys had two short boards each.
