Internet in Bali

I am visiting Bali in Feb 07, can anyone tell me what is the best way to hook up to the internet via my laptop while staying at a hotel in Bali as I believe phone charges at hotel are very expensive.

Also what is the best sim card to buy and use whilst in Bali.
