is not necessarily the destination when statistics for Indonesia are calculated it would appear even more grim for Bali's tourist industry. Australia has huge ongoing trade and business exchange occurring and there would be much short term travel between Jakarta and Australia. As terrorist activity against western business concerns in Jakarta and elsewhere has been ongoing for well before the Bali 2002 bombings I dont think travel would have been much affected for this reason. Theres also the fly in/fly out mining and offshore exploration personnel that would use Indonesia as their base.
