I think it is always worth striving for especially when i see that out of the nine dolphins just one third were returned to captivity. In my eyes although one dolphin died the people who helped the other five dolphins to achieve freedom had a great success.
Concerning ' Free Willy' I really like Nick Braden's comment after Willy died. "it's a really sad moment for us, but we do believe we gave him a chance to be in the wild."
That is also my hope for these creatures: To be given a chance. :)
