I had some ladies hem me in with chairs and sit on them when i tried to leave their painting shop. They looked pretty grim and were very determined that i should stay. Dunno how long they would have kept me if i hadn't finally said i needed a second opinion about a painting and needed to find my friend.
At another shop a guy lifted my feet up, took my shoes off, and replaced them with new ones while i was standing waiting for friend to choose sandals. Actually he replaced the shoes 5 times with different styles. Wasn't so bad and all in good fun.
Depends what you can handle.
