Paying twice has happened twice to us with Qantas Holidays and Air New Zealand. In both cases our money was returned to our credit card within 7 days. Have you contacted your credit card company? Not sure what to recommend other than to keep writing and ringing. Remember the squeaky wheel gets the most oil.
