Hi Lisa, we recently visited our sponsor child through Helens foundation, we took over a few things from australia,hair clips, pink towel/face washer, soaps, toothbrush/paste etc, as suryantini is an 11yr old we asked to take her shopping to the local pasar and let her choose a few things that she liked, jonni one of the teachers from the learning centre accompanied us and helped choose food supplies appropriate for the family. No matter what you take it will be truly appreciated as they have very little.
