We got married and spent our honeymoon in The Sunset Suite @ Bali Mystique. We thought the same as you, that a lot of wedding planners in Bali charge "like wounded bulls" but the people at The Bali Mystique drove us around and basically organised everything for us and only charged us cost plus 10% to cover their time and expenses.
Weddings are a very personal thing so we could make it as simple or elaborate as we wanted. They took us to all the right places to get things done quickly, something that would be virtually impossible for a tourist to do on their own. The wedding ceremony was held in The Sunset Suite, followed by a reception for 30-odd guests in their restaurant, which worked out about A$25.00 per head without drinks. We honeymooned in The Sunset Suite. The wedding and honeymoon were both perfect and the memories will last us a lifetime.
