I didn't like the way she portrayed the Balinese humour. Didn't sound funny at all. I could imagine Aussies that had never been to Bali thinking "what the?". She said when you fall over and break your leg everyone laughs??? I agree that the Balinese have a great sense of humour but she doesn't get it at all.
I can see what she means about the Indonesian bit though. You don't know how many people write "Bali" for country visited.
She didn't really say she would take her child. She hesitated when asked the question then said Balinese love kiddies.
Definately won't waste my money on that book.
