In answer to mspisces question it is matter of choice if you deplane at some the various stops. At Broome on the outbound leg you are only on the ground for 30 minutes and as the aircraft does not take on fuel at Broome there would be no requirement for you to deplane. However if you wished to stretch your legs and give the kids a run then perhaps it would be a good idea. At Port Hedland you must deplane to clear customs and immigration and you have a full hour on the deck there. The plane also takes on fuel at Hedland. After that, blink and in 2 hours you are in Bali. It is also fair to say that even though the same strict security protocols operate at these regional airports because of the less number of passenger throughput the is no holdups or frustrations. I forgot to mention in my earlier post that you can book through any travel agent but they in turn will obtain the package from Island Bound in Subiaco as they are the "closed charter" operator. No matter where you purchase your holiday the cost should be then same or very close to it. Individual agents may exercise their option of adding a small fee. Hope this helps. Skywest, Island Bound or your particular travel agent will be able to lay out the details for you.
