our flights are direct both ways but as Andytoo said, they can be either.
You can see this as you look at each flight, it will state if its via Sydney or direct.
The thing we like about the Barong is that there is an entrance at the back of the hotel which gives you great access to other parts of Kuta. Giving you 5 directions on which to leave/return to the hotel. Three in the front and two at the rear.! The Garden area at the second pool is a great place to relax and have a few drinks and nibblies in the arvo.
The Barong seems to have a good mix of ages and nationalities and is also a young to young at heart type hotel which we enjoy.
