I rang Garuda today to check on the availabilty of business class flights only to find out these have been scrapped AGAIN, as from December 10. I was flying business class Nov/Dec but had to postpone, so would have had seat changed. Not happy Jan. I was told that Garuda are concentrating on the Jakarta market hence the direct flights to Jakarta, then domestic to Bali. Direct flight from Perth is still 8am but direct flight from Bali is 1240 (I prefer this) arriving in Perth around 1625. Originally this flight was only Friday & Saturday, with business class, but is now daily. I wonder how long before Jakarta makes more changes. My travel agent wasn't aware of this until I told her.
