we did it LA to SF last time we want to do it SF to LA this time. When we did it some of the coast road was 1 way (we thought we was waiting for road works and saying come on when is it our turn and then the traffic lights went green hahahaha and there was a large line up waiting on the other side, it was 1 way/lane a little scarey but so spectacular, we was so glad it was still daylight) We will be booking a small car this time as it will onyl be 2 of us till we get to LA.
Yes we noticed that with america they try and screw the last $, sorry to any americans on this site. One restaurant wasn't that great service and the tip wasn't added to the bill (lynneD check your bills before you tip otherwise you may tip twice, opps then hubby will complain hehehe) well we didn;t tip (not good service in australia you don't tip) We was told oooooooooh you aussie are not rich hahahaha as we was leaving.
