I have some friends who live in Bandung, Indonesia. I looked into flying out of Denpasar to Jakarta, then connecting to a flight to Bandung. The rates are ok, but much higher coming back into Denpasar.
Are there any other options via land that are safe and cost effective to get into places like Bandung.
I'm also concerned about safety, etc about this type of travel so any information / warnings would be appreciated.
