I stayed at the smallest (2-bedroom) villa at Villa Delapan about 2 years ago.
Location is very handy to Jl Laksmana (Eat Street) - a short walk around the corner to the restaurants. The villa was quiet and very clean. Staff came and made breakfast daily. There was no 'reception' area, like other villa compounds do sometimes have, just a security guard out the front day and night.
It was one of the first villas we stayed in Bali, but we haven't returned to it, manily because we have since been prepared to pay a bit extra for a newer/more luxurious place. However it is good value for money in the area. It is a long walk to the beach, so don't stay here if you are expecting to have ocean views - it is right at the Jl Raya Seminyak end of Jl Laksmana, not the Oberoi end.
Let me know if you need more info.
cheers,
Caroline
