I havent seen any signs of a hotel being built. There is an excellent amphitheatre where they have rock shows, dance parties and all sorts of entertainment. Its fabulous.
The two monuments, Wisna and Garuda appear completed but are only a small part of the overall planned 143 metre high statue. I think rumour has it that they have run out of 'dosh'. ALl the same, the existing statues are awesome.
The restaurant is built along the ridge and the views are spectacular. As we have said in the past, watch the Bali light show, as the lights come on over Jimbaran bay, Tuban, Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Benoa harbour etc.
The restaurant is deMiMidi and really great standard and reasonably priced, especailly for what you get.
