We are booked to go to Bali in January and again in May. We always get the inevitable raised eyebrow and "I couldn't travel there...". Interestingly, our overseas travel plans had been given an extra boost when my brother called last week and told us that he is (rather spontaneously) getting married in Fiji on the 17th of November and "here is your itinerary - all booked and paid for". Now he faces the dilema of whether to cancel the whole thing or not given recent news reports. The trouble is, although I understand there is talk about the uneasiness brewing in Fiji, I also know full well the media hype that can cause panic in what should simply be caution times. "Australian Warship on Standby to Evacuate Aussies from Fiji" I am not sure what to adivse him to do. At the moment I am happy to go still ......... any thoughts?
