RESTAURANTS
* Breeze restaurant now open at the Old Indo National site in Jln Sahadewa
Black & hot pink decor
*Mutiara Cafe
New restaurant in Melasti St between Uncle Norms & Circle K
*Warung Desaku now open at the the old Rhum restaurant site in Rum Jungle Rd
*Warung Eurasia (Su's Cottages I) now re-opened
*Melasti Beach Resort will open the top floor of their corner bar/restaurant next week.
HOTELS
* New hotel being built next to the Kumala Hotel in Legian.
Was formerly Puri Damai II
* Work has started on the Legian Nirwana (site of the old Intan Legian)
Old rooms being demolished & the first 4/5 storey block under construction.

* New villas being built on the beach next to the Pantai restaurant in Tuban.
*Puri Raja renovations appear close to completion.
Still some mess in the driveway. Mattresses being delivered for the rooms.
*Had a look at Puri Naga seaside Cottages in Jln Double 6 & Pondok Sara Bungalows just off Jln Double 6 for a friend.
Took some photos & will add reports to the site later
*Also looked at part of the Kumala Hotel. Did not bother to ask to see the rooms after seeing the pool & reception area.
OTHER STUFF
* Exchange rate around 6800 (Aus $)
*Weather sunny most of the time - (some rainy days)
*Fairly busy with domestic tourists during school holidays -
Tanjung Benoa very busy when we visited.
Bus loads of local tourists.
Water & sky choc-a-block with jetskis, boats, rafts & parachutes criss-crossing each other
*Garuda flight home from Perth overbooked.
Was offered another free nights accommodation in Bali...declined.
Not all luggage for some passengers was able to go on the flight.
Some unable to go until the next flight.
