and a room.
I say VILLA in my posts as that's what AKK uses (to distinguish between the different types of accomodation)
HOWEVER, by dictionary definition, A VILLA is 'a holiday home' and A HOTEL is a 'place for overnight stay' hence my clarification in my earlier post.
I'm simply stating that even the AKK is incorrect regarding their 'use' of the word villa as one would imagine FULL facilities such as full kitchens etc in a villa, however the web is very accurate when it comes to showing the rooms and listing the facilities in each.(we know Bali has a way of using the incorrect words for many things) Colleen obviously enjoys using the internet while on holidays (else she wouldn't have complained about the use of only one computer at the AKK) so if she was cluey enough, she could have seen for herself.
Regarding your comments of 'prying eyes' - here's the thing honey, when you GO THERE YOURSELF, you will be able to make a comment regarding the rooms and the balcony/privacy situation, looking on the internet alone does not allow you to have all your ducks in a row with this comment. I went to the pool often and walked past the rooms around the pool and they have very large sheltered balconies atleast 4-5 metres from the pathways. (I remember them very well as I was disappointed in not choosing one for myself). The 'villas' have their own gardens and the family/triple/quad rooms are upstairs off a hallway with a heavy duty door and cannot be seen from any pathways unless the door is held open.
As stated previously, Colleen must have been booked into a 'room' and not an 'AKK Villa' from what she has stated. You're quite correct, the rate does not reflect an 'AKK Villa'.
My point was she ever so ineloquently ranted and raved about things that had nothing to do with the AKK. Her over the top statements regarding 'never staying again, not even if I got the holiday for free' is absurd. The comments she made were ridiculous and embarrasing as they came from out of nowhere and were written so inappropriately.
There was absolutely no need to bag the AKK to the degree that she did or to say the absurd things she said when ultimately the woman clearly has a communication with her travel agent. I think Colleen needs a nice holiday in Lebanon or Beirut so she can compare 'never ever to stay again places'.
Shaddup, you're right, they ARE beautiful rooms! There are fresh flowers and petals in the bathrooms each day too just for a nice little touch.
