we have stayed atthe MBR twice,and have had no problem with the deposit boxes at reception. We always take $2500 cash, and two credit cards just in case. Have only used CC for things like waterbomb park or rafting.And only carry enough money for the day.have fun on your holiday, we will be ther e in june.sc
